Dear members and friends of ipernity,

1) Welcoming new members.
Allow us to remind you of the New Club Members - most recent page. With the wonderful new online message to new members, the team moderator no longer has to send a personal ipermail to them. However, you can choose to visit this page and engage with these new members, like our long time member Jaap van 't Veen does. So, our thanks to Jaap, and may we encourage others to join in this activity of simply being friendly. Is anyone motivated to create something like a welcoming committee to organise this activity?

2) Importing from Flickr.
There are new versions of the Flickr import scripts in www.ipernity.com/apps/gm using HTTPS links for Ipernity and Flickr requests. If you have used it before and are now having a problem, the first step will be to install the new scripts. This document may also be of use.

3) Update to photo selection feature.
The drop-down menu from the main 'Photos' menu now has the option to select content based on the setting of 'Visible by:'. It is only available when viewing your own photos, and some of you may find it useful.

4) Update to 'comment deleted' warning message.
You may never have seen this warning message, but if you have clicked a link to a comment, you may have had the impression that it failed. Depending on the height of the photo, article, or discussion, the warning notice may only have been visible after scrolling down.
This update provides the message more clearly with a popup, as you can observe with this link.
