Dear members and friends of ipernity,

1) World Photography Day - August 19th, 2023.
What a great success! For this year's event 70 people captured their photographic day and interests literally from all over the world. From favorite cameras, to the depths of the night sky, from well planned out images to spontanious discoveries, our members celebrated the gift of photography.

View all the wonderful contributions in the group here and join in the conversations about why and how the photos were taken, learning a little bit more about our wonderful community along the way. Photos were accepted into the group through the end of August so if you haven't looked through the photos recently look again.

We hope that everyone who participated enjoyed the event. Remember to share your general thoughts about the event in this discussion.

2) Changes to Actions menu.
Minor revision to the order of items in the Actions menu. This creates a more logical grouping for new members while minimising changes for those familiar with it.

3) Fall Season.
Our homepage pictures have now been switched to the autumn collection. We thank all those who contributed with their pictures, as well as those who helped with the selection.

The pictures can also be viewed as a YouTube Slide Show. Please give a 'like' to this slide show if you enjoy it. This will help to increase ipernity's relevance on YouTube.

4) In memoria.
It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of two of our long time members, Andy Rodker and Eve Chartier. Condolences and comments can be made on their in memoria pages.
