Adding video that you have at ipernity is easy. All you need to do is click 'Insert a media' button on blog article tool bar. Then choose 'Videos' and one (or more) that you wish to add on your article.
Adding external video for example from YouTube
1) First on blog editor hit enter several times, to add some empty lines. That makes editing easier after you have embedded the code.
2) Copy the so called embed code from another source (e.g. YouTube or Vimeo).
a) Choose "Embed"
b) At Youtube, click "Enable privacy-enhanced mode". Then select the code and copy it.
3) On blog editor click 'Source' button. Paste the copied code after one of the line breaks.
4) Then click 'Source' button again to get back to normal view. Video becomes displayed immediately. Continue editing.
Protect the privacy of your audience (as much as you can)
If you embed videos from YouTube, it is strongly recommended to tick the privacy setting box before copying the embed code.
However, this only protects the privacy of the user if the video is not viewed (Guiding Tech):
"When you enable privacy-enhanced mode, YouTube will not collect and store info on the users, that are visiting your site, on its server unless they view the video.
Now, Google will collect data only when the user clicks on the play button and watches the video or interacts with it in some capacity. If you leave the video alone, no data will be collected."
This is what I have started to do systematically, also on this blog article. So, if you do play that embedded YouTube video on this page, be warned!
There is no much need to worry when only watching Youtube videos embedded or linked by someone. Google collects such data like approximate location based on IP address where the request comes. The more "unique" the IP address is, the more accurate the detected location is. For example using the WiFi of local cafe at New York, to view my toy car YouTube video below, reveals that the video has been opened and viewed at that particular cafe. Moreover, Google probably then finds out that the video is opened on page that belongs to Sami Serola. So, maybe Google at least figures out that Sami Serola is a potential toy car enthusiast and vlogger, and "popular" in New York! =,D

If that scares you, it is then maybe a good idea to open links to external sources onto "incognito window" (right click menu option on Windows).

The hidden agenda is to make people think what and how they share ;-)
With worry I have followed some people sharing here pictures taken by others. They can be free images or Creative Commons images, but nevertheless we need to ask from ourselves: "How we wish this place look for next decade?"
So far the majority shares the unwritten agreement to share pictures of their own. But there are exceptions, and within Terms of Service it is not actually forbidden to share also "free images" and Creative Commons images.
But we all should consider what wish to use this place for? Constantly and together.

Solche Ausnahmen sind beispielsweise die finalisierten Homepage-Bilder, die zwar von Mitgliedern stammrn, aber vom ima-team veröffentlicht werden.
