I Think I have made it back here !!!
After a month of despair that a website much loved was about to disappear.. and the work of some of us to Archive memories for those who didnt know how to......

After some days 20 hours long for nearly a month watching downloads and checking files.....

I think I am back tonight !

THANKYOU all my friends who looked for me.. wrote to me.. sent me photo links to raise sometimes sinking spirits.

I am sad to see some have left... that things that could have been stopped from escalating.. did still.

I know I am not going to be able to catch up with all my friends photos.. forgive me for that. I WILL endeavour to start afresh.. and let the beauty of your talent wash my heart and spirit

Auntie PeggyC .."your nephews" have some snow pics.. I just have to wade into them !

We had alot of snow ! Then oh so Oklahoma.... last week minus temps and temps in the low teens.... yesterday and today.. 63F... snow's gone !

PS. Jim... "Explored" DOES mean something.. CONGRATULATIONS on your SO deserved 1st one

Thank-you Pam! I can't tell you how much I appreciate this. When you wrote your article about your first time I was so happy for you and thought to myself that maybe one day I could share in the thrill. People over at flickr are always saying that Explore means nothing, just a meaningless algorithm, but it is a kick to share a spot however briefly with some amazing talent.

So glad to see your return! Sorry it had to be amongst this recent turmoil of groups shutting down and good friends leaving. They will be missed. Don't ever worry about catching up with me...I know what that's like...and you never should feel obligated to visit anyone. Take a deep breath, relax after your ordeal with that other mess you found yourself in and know that your friends here totally understand.

Peggy.. the only way I know is to go look

See the top menu bar of each page-- + Upload photos Organize Explore

Click the "Explore"

In the big window at the bottom of the black bar is a link that says

"Among the photos recently added and that are popular... "

That takes you to the pages of Explore

Explore is kind of neat, but one comment like "Your picture made me smile," from someone is way better to me than getting an image into explore.

Its fun to get on the Explore... but that someone just cares to comment.. be it one word or 50.... that is always SO much appreciated.
