Today had been uncomfortably hot and humid with temps reaching 32c with no breeze, Indoors it reached 27.5 c with every door and window open.
Approaching 8 pm here and inside it's still 26c
Yes it's been unbearable these last two days down here too, Mickey. I could hardly breathe with the humidity, so the thunder was a very welcome relief.
Never can understand why more in the uk don't have either a/c or at least ceiling fans. I know you say it doesn't get hot often, but when it does, its very uncomfortable. And
Ceiling fans are great. They are cost effective, can usually be wired wherever theres a ceiling light, (most come with their own lights built in). Most are nice looking, ranging from ulta modern to traditional. And they come in all sizes to fit small, medium and large rooms! I have 4. Both bedrooms, the living room and kitchen. Where they're also good for those times you burn the toast!
Same here Mickey. Trying to sleep in a bedroom that's over 27C is no joke.
We've all had enough here.
Friday has started cloudy and grey. Hoping for rain.
