I do believe it's getting warmer!!!!
Not a lot to say really - apart from the fact that the lounge window is open until I go to bed and the window is open in my bedroom too!!! All the time. It's lovely having fresh air to breathe in while I go to sleep. It's 7.30pm and it's still 22C which is amazing, considering it's taken a long time to have that happen.

My neighbours' daughter got married last weekend and I was given some of the flowers that they had for the reception ....

They are so bright and colourful, so I'd have loved to have seen the bridal bouquet, because apparently they had the same kind of colours and flowers. How clever to have such dramatic colours.

I also have had 2 plants given to me by Emily - red geraniums!!!! So hopefully they will last like the other ones I've got - which are still flowering too!!!

So now I have some lovely bright colours in my lounge now. I hope everyone has been enjoying the warmer weather too. Emily has been busy keeping the grass cut and has also been pulling up the tall weeds in the driveway - she's amazing - and I'm blessed having her not only as my helper, but now she's a damn good friend.

I had a wonderful surprise the other day - the phone rang and I didn't recognise the number, but I answered anyway!!! I was all ready to have a go at cold callers, but it wasn't one - it was from a catalogue I subscribe to. Apparently I've been paying a certain amount each month but I haven't bought anything for a while, so I have a huge amount of credit (well it's a huge amount to me anyway!!) and they asked me to stop the payments for a while and they're sending me a cheque to clear the credit. Put it like this - I've asked Emily if she can get her hubby to find me a car!!!! I can't believe it - so hopefully soon I'll have a car and I'll be able to visit the beach and coastal regions!!! Bliss.

Well I've also been making more jewellry - what a surprise eh? I'll show you some of them at a later date. Take care folks, and I wish you all a wonderful weekend, a very happy Father's Day to those who celebrate it on Sunday, and I hope this weather continues so you can go for a lovely swim (if that's your thing!).

Take care folks......

That's great to finally have nice weather.
That's a lot of credit! But with the price of gas your excursions won't be,too far.Lovely flowers

Yes it was a lot of credit, but I'm going to probably put getting a car on hold for a while - I found out how much my electricity direct debit is going to be each month and that doesn't leave enough to buy a car and run it. Never mind - I'll survive.

Wow, what a splash of colour!

Oh, that's great news about a cheque in the mail for you. Hope you can find a decent car to get you out and about again.

Enjoy the weather, too hot for my liking.

I swear I live in a little eco-system that doesn't get as cold or as hot as the rest of the country, because it's been nice and warm today - but only up to 22C which wasn't as hot as everyone else. I'm going to have to hold out for the car, I found out how much the electricity company took out of my bank as Direct Debit - it's doubled what it usually is. Trouble is - my pension is just the same.

22c sounds nice, here it got up to 28C which was not nice. Today it's down to 15C and very cloudy, though sadly, no rain as yet.

That's a shame about the car. I'm on a fixed tariff at the moment but that ends soon, and I'm dreading how much I'll have to pay each month on the new rates. It's criminal!
