Well I've noticed a little black cat who seems to think it's his garden now - and comes up most days and just relaxes. Apparently he belongs to one of my other neighbours, and he has two other siblings to play with, but he seems to be a loner, and comes up here on his own. Very pretty little thing.
I recognise his blue collar, which with all the trees around, I worry about cats being strangled if caught on the branches. He seems to manage it okay though.
Whilst sitting in my lounge, I looked up and saw the sun shining on the cherry blossom with a dark grey/blue sky behind it - it looked lovely so I grabbed the camera and I was off!!!
It's no good me going out as I can't get the right angle for the photos, so these are all taken through my lounge window!!
Well I think the blossom is a its peek of beauty now - yesterday we had a lot of wind and the petals were coming off and it looked like confetti. Hence I thought I would take pictures today before there wasn't any blossom to photograph.
Well I did notice that Anne and Peter have an apple tree which is starting to have gorgeous apple blossom already coming out, so watch this space - I'm going to have to attempt an outside visit, to get some pics.
Hey we had extremely warm temperatures this weekend - great for holiday makers getting away for the Easter weekend. Now it's Easter Monday - the temperatures have fallen already, it was around 22C on Friday and today (3 days later) it's only 12C, that's 10 degrees drop. It's no wonder we get colds when one minute it's lovely and warm, then it's cold again. Still at least it only rained last night and today has been what the weather forecasters say as "sunny periods.
I've just had a call from my daughter, in Turkey, and she's coming here for 2 weeks, on two weeks time!!!!! I haven't seen her for 3 years, so you can imagine how excited I'm feeling right now. I do hope nothing spoils her journey.
I'll write again soon - take care of yourselves.

Lovely photos, and mostly, you wouldn't know they'd been taken through a window. We had some warm, sunny days too which was lovely, though the temperature has dropped here too now.
Pretty cat. He'll enjoy prowling through your garden, no doubt.

I was very pleased with how those pictures came out, even through the window - it was good that Sam (my window cleaner) had cleaned them a fortnight ago!! Yes the cat is pretty - looks very similar to Pippin, maybe a bit smaller, and he has already sprayed his presence on the plants!!!! I had another ginger and white cat visit the lounge window yesterday too - so whose cat that is - I don't know - very pretty too.
