Feeling much better- And getting antsy now...
I no loger walk like Igor.. Nor do I drag my leg around like the Mummy.. And I can go up and down the stairs with minimal issue.. It just gets sore if I overdue a bit.. Stand too long, take the stairs too many times, that sort.. But my Rick is adamant I keep low key yet. And I have too much to do and have been housebound since Sunday now.. My group of guys went to our annual very expensive, very good Steak dinner out (company paid) and Secret Santa gift exchange.. I really missed that and they apparantly really wanted to bring me! They even offered to pick me up at the house and take me! And they texted me for over an hour during the meal.. Toasting to me and showing me the big, juicy steaks they were eating! That part was a tad cruel... Made me hungry all over again.. So I was forced to eat Ice Cream to feel better.. Even saying they actually DID miss me and want me back soon! I almost believe them... These are the same guys who (some) wanted to know how come I got to work from home.. Like it affects them! Unlike them I have limited time as I'm an hourly employee. The rest are salaried.. You know that means they get more sick time than I by far! Someone always has a bitch! But I think they meant it about missing me.. Enough so that I may do something nice next week and bring them cookies.. Oh wait! I already sent my Rick yesterday with his home made sugar-graham cracker brownies they love! Done!
We also have company for a few days.. Our friend Pete arrived today. He'll be with us till Tuesday.. This is good. And my Christmas tree and village is getting decorated starting tomorrow.. The tree itself is already in the stand letting the branches fall... It's a real one.. Tiny by my normal standards. I'll post pics when it's all decorated. And yes Sue I remember. I will post pics of the Train on the tracks too.. The village goes down last of course.. Enjoy your weekend everyone!

So glad to hear that you are feeling better Gracie, and that Rick has been tending to your needs. Yes - it was a tad mean of your workmates to send photos of the steaks etc!!!

So you are going to have a village and train set going round your trree are you? I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures.

I've had a village with train for years.. It's just "grown" over time! Sue had done a blog recently about people who get into the train hobby game. I happened to mention that what I have under the tree.. Is a little more than a box set!

Well in that case, I certainly want to see photographs when you've got it all set up. I have always wanted to have a train set with the landscape and the villages etc.
