URINE TEST

(I sure would like to know who wrote this one!  They deserve a HUGE
pat on the back!)

<< Like a lot of folks in this country (USA), I have a job.  I work, they pay me.  I pay
my taxes and the government distributes my taxes as it sees fit.   In order to get that paycheck, I am required to pass a random urine test with which I have no problem.   What I do have a problem with is the distribution of my taxes to people who DON'T have to pass a urine test.  Shouldn't one have to pass a urine test to get a welfare check because I have to pass one to earn it for them?

Please understand, I have no problem with helping people get back on
their feet!   I do, on the other hand, have a problem with helping someone sitting on their butts, doing drugs, while I work.   Can you imagine how much money the state would save if people had to pass a urine test to get a public assistance check?

Something has to change in this country -- and soon! >>

Huh. I googled the original. This guy is proud about passing his urine test, but in fact he fails in testing oral microflora because of talking so much bullshit. But never mind. He lives in Florida. It is the worst place on planet, this makes it easier to bear.

I don´t agree. Maybe there are some jobs where testing urine for drug misusage may help to save lives of others (pilots, operators in a nuclear power plant..). Spreading urine tests or other testing methods around and deciding sanctions on it might lead to a world where others decide about you. If you open the door it is not only your employer who decide abou you. Next is your welfare official, then your insurance (Uh, you had a beer, your car insurance is now doubled). If testing is common sense, next is checking habits. You do some sports? Yea? Ski? Sign here, your health insurance fee is doubled.

You are allowed to have your own opinion, this is a free world. But I still think if you do it for one, you do it for all ... but we can differ in our opinions :-))
