Computer Problems ...
Big problems at the moment with my PC hence my absence over the last week or so, all of which means my appearances will continue to be sporadic for some time.

I had hoped a System Restore and reinstalling all of my software (groan) would solve the issues, but in some ways things have only got worse ... not helped in any way it has to be said by Norton 360.

Anyway, take good care of yourselves and forgive me for not being around to comment or participate much at this point in time.

Best wishes

PAUL

UPDATE: 19 July, 2015:

Still not fully operational yet folks ... hope to be back amongst you all soon.

I'm so sorry you are having such problems with your computer, Paul! I'm presently having internet problems myself after a bad thunderstorm hit us a couple of nights ago. It's pretty frustrating, that's for sure! Hope you can get your problems worked out real soon; in the meantime, you will be greatly missed :-(

I am feeling your pain. My Mac broke this morning. My online presence will be limited too on my old Dell dinosaur.

I wish you a speedy recover Doctor Paul! ;)

Thanks Karen and I'm sorry to hear about the problems you're having ... and there was me thinking if only I had a Mac things would be so much easier - lol! ;)

At the moment I'm having to restore my old files one folder at a time from Norton and even then it's not always restoring the complete contents so I'm having to check them over file by file.

Sometimes I'm finding that Norton does have the file, but for some reason it isn't restoring it automatically. Other times I'm finding that the pesky software hasn't evn backed the files up ... more often than not it's the PaintShop files it seems to have problems with.

My advice to anyone thinking of using Norton to protect there PC and create a safe and reliable backup of their files is simply ... don't do it! :(

Thanks very much for that Chris ... I will still try to keep up with commenting on what my friends and contacts are up to, but am unlikely to be posting much in the way of new photos until I get things resolved. I'll be keeping a close eye on you though! ;)

This is typical of computer hardware and software Paul - when it works, its brilliant - but when it fails, there never seems to be a simple solution and its a real pain to get things working again.
