We have had the pleasure of visiting the museums and parks containing static displays of the amazing Union Pacific "Big Boy" steam locomotives. In 2024, we were able to view #4012 at Steamtown, Scranton, Pennsylvania. Just this year, 2026, we saw the beautifully maintained 4017 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. That makes it complete, we have seen all 8.
In addition to "museum" examples, since the re-start of #4014, we've managed to see this remarkable machine in action.
