Thank you Graham. We popped over to our local at about 11.15 last night. It was so crowded and noisy that I missed the London firework display. Quite a show wasn't it? The London Council tax payers must be weeping into their breakfasts this morning, ;-)

Wow, that was spectacular! I wish they would do professional fireworks here and ban all others. We had very bad smog in many German towns because of all the smoke.
Happy new year, Gudrun. They put on a good show in London, anyone near there will not bother with their own celebrations. All the UK capital cities do the same. There were a few fireworks in our village at 2400 hours but not enough to cause any smoke problems.
