High Street ~ Bradford-on-Avon

Although I am calling this the High Street it is the B3107 and quite a lot of traffic passes through. Most of the shops and eateries are in The Shambles and the newly renovated pedestrian only areas, of which there are many. My last pictures from BoA....probably! :))

It has been a great tour Rosa and your principal picture here works very well, you were lucky to find a traffic free moment ~ All the best ~ Nick

Rosalyn Hilborne replied to Nick Weall:

Thank you very much Nick. There were roadworks on the outskirts, so the traffic lights helped a lot in getting traffic free shots :~)
All the best, Rosa.

Good morning Rosalyn have you got interesting things planned for the day / a bit brighter this morning but still a lot of cloud. I like the contrast between the shaded and sunlit areas in the first shot, enjoy your day

Rosalyn Hilborne replied to Peter Castell:

I try to make every day interesting Peter...I don't always succeed :) Thank you for your kind comments. I love the old building in the High Street, but with the bends, hills and traffic, not always easy to capture a decent picture. Have a nice day.

Lovely architecture in both images, Rosa. In the top image, I love the different light levels on the front facades of the buildings. This give a lovely three-dimensional feel to the scene. Cheers, Joe

Thank you for your very kind comments Joe. Pity about the blue rubbish bags though.
