Saturday 21 July 2001 – An unusual sighting at King Street, Mildenhall. Bakewell Coaches of Bakewell, Derbyshire V678 LWT, an Ikarus Blue Danube bodied DAF new January 2000, was working a tour feeder on behalf of Grand UK Holidays.

The window label read ‘Holidays via Clacket Lane’, Clacket Lane Service Area (located on the M25 in Kent) was used as an interchange point by Grand UK. On the extreme left hand edge of the photograph is a Toyota mini-bus operated by Home James of Watton which had itself worked a feeder to this coach from North Norfolk.
