Counting sheep

Sleepy sheep dozing beside the lazy River Exe at Bridgetown, Dulverton, Somerset.
I don't know if the warmth of the Summer sun was enough to make them take a nap, or if they needed to count sheep like the rest of us!

I have added 'Up a Lazy River' sung here by Dean Martin and the Mills Brothers

Ecobird replied to José Manuel Polo:

Thank you very much Jose. It looks like they have been doing more sleeping than eating by the length of the grass!

I am pleased you liked the link too.

Ecobird replied to Dominique 60:

Thank you very much Dominique. They have found a little shade and a nice soft patch of long grass to lie in, - add the heat of the sun and the chatter of the babbling river and you have perfect conditions for zzzzzzzzzzzz!!

José Manuel Polo replied to Ecobird:

HFF Carol.

A great shady place for the sheep, and if they are thirsty, there is even a creek. HFF Carol.
