A grain warehouse until the 1970ies, the building on Duisburg's interiour harbour was converted into a museum for modern art which openend in 1999 and has recently had an extension added which cuts through the old silo.The staircases are of terracotta coloured raw concrete. A very nice picture, which I like very much!
At first sight it reminded me of the wooden architecture (lots of thin pieces of wood glued and curved to shape) so popular in Norway...
