Dalmation Pelican

I thought converting on of my Pelican shots to black and white would be a good idea. I'm quite pleased with this and hope you like it too.

A reminder of my previous post featuring these birds: www.ipernity.com/doc/keithburton/50714840

Please view large, on black. Thanks for looking.

The muted black and white tones are beautiful Keith. I also like the simple framing.
One to be very pleased with I think :-)

Jean Paul

Keith Burton replied to Jean Paul Capdeville:

A great analogy Jean Paul. I'm pleased you like it and took the trouble to comment!

Keith Burton replied to John FitzGerald:

Very kind comments from you all...................very much appreciated.

Amelia Heath kindly put this poem in the comments on my earlier Pelican images. I'm sure she won't mind me sharing it here:

“A wonderful bird is the Pelican.
His beak can hold more than his belly can.
He can hold in his beak
Enough food for a week!
But I'll be darned if I know how the hellican?”
