Across the River Stour from Sturminster Newton Mill.
I saw what I think is a Derek Kinzett wire sculpture along the river footpath. A nice touch, holding the bird feeder.
A multi-span bridge, dating from the late C15 or early C16; widened in the C17. It has traffic lights as it is only wide enough for cars going one way.

The wire sculpture is really lovely. I'd love to see a large version of the multi-span bridge, I think it would be excellent.

Have have previously taken a closer picture of the bridge. I am away for a few days but I will look it out when I'm back. I once saw an exhibition of Derek Kinzett's wire sculptures in Lacock Abbey and always liked them, so was delighted to spot this one. Actually there was another at the other end of the balcony but I couldn't get a clear shot of it.
