Yes I hope so too John ;-)) Always seems to be scaffolding somewhere, but good to see them keeping the building safe and beautiful.

A nice open approach to the cathedral and unusual cathedral precincts are not normally that large, the clouds look rather ominous I hope you kept dry. I hope your day is going well Rosalyn after a wet start it's been a nice day and warm

I think this green is a little bigger than at Salisbury Cathedral Peter. It did seem so to me. We had no rain, despite the heavy clouds. In fact it was quite warm as well. We even sat outside with our coffee and snacks!

That is a fantastic looking cathedral.........................a shame about the scaffolding but there's nothing to be done about that. It doesn't detract from the photo too much.

Such a wonderful lush green space in front of the cathedral...........just the place for jousting, cricket matches and fetes!

Always a bit of a disappointment when the scaffolding is up, but also good to see the restoration and upkeep going on. I wouldn't be surprised if they had events on the green Keith. I will have to keep an eye out for that!
