Other steps in Valderrey, Algete. (The first of three Algete shots I'm posting tonight, just because I want to!)

Algete is fairly hilly so there are plenty of alternative steps where I can take my exercise. This one boasts only 45 fairly gentle steps but when I add it to some of the other more serious flights, it all counts!

Well I'm trying to portray Algete as it is and not as some chocolate-boxey place, which it certainly isn't. But I prefer it that way. Thank you, Maggie!

Oh these steps aren't as bad as I thought - it would still be difficult for me to climb up them, as my rollator wouldn't do a really good job. It's a great view too.

Andy Rodker replied to Jenny McIntyre:

Thank you, Jenny!
These are the ONLY ones I know of in Algete that AREN'T steep! All the rest are and there are very many of them!
The roads are often steep too and one very long uphill stretch is known locally as 'Cholestorol Walk' as one local doctor recommends his aged patients with cholorestorol issues to walk up it every day!
