I always start and end my walks in La Sierra de La Cabrera here. This is the first sight of the village on my descent at the end of a day's walking. If I have time, a cold beer awaits. If not, it's a mad scramble for the last bus back to Madrid.

Thanks Nick! If I do have to miss a cold beer, its about 1 hour 15 back to Madrid on the bus and I then hit my local with a sweaty intent (intensity even!), so I get the beer in the end!

Well, this from 2011!
But yes. I did go for a long mountain ridge walk recently and thoroughly enjoyed myself, a few of the photos posted recently shows aspects of my walk.
