It was lovely and warm today..............
It was a gorgeous sunny day - warm with a little wind. I walked outside the kitchen and just stopped and I couldn't hear anything - just the odd little bird song, but otherwise - silence.

I decided to come into my lounge and actually open the window - the last time was around October - that's over 5 months ago!!!!!!! The wind wasn't actually facing the window, so there wouldn't be in a draught. Oh the gorgeous fresh air circulating the lounge and out into the house - bliss...

You can see the geraniums - they have been flowering constantly since last March - that's over a year!!!! I probably should trim them a bit, but I don't want to stop them from flowering. You can also see the Aloe Vera plant on the window sill - I don't think it's big enough to start cutting through the leaves and get that amazing liquid out of them.

Of course I did make a few little pieces of jewellry - I practised with pure blue colour, and wasn't too disappointed in the outcome.

I put the flowers etc in clear resin, and then poured the blue resin ontop at the end. Just an idea - which I am constantly thinking up different things and I may actually do something similar again.

Well I hope you all have had a wonderful Saturday and will have a great Sunday. I'm just going to watch Formula 1, Grand Prix in Saudi Arabia - see you.

You're the only person I know besides my husband and two of our friends, who also watches F1. Trying to convince Rick we should go to Italy next year ( he told me to slow down and finish one vacation at a time). I am trying to bribe him with a visit to Marinello. He wants a test drive. Lol!
I Love spring weather and agree, windows open for warm breezes is bliss! We're currently having a bit of a cold spell but hopefully by Wednesday its gone and warms up again..
I love the blues. I know what you mean by constantly having new ideas. Rick and I are collaborating on a new stained glass piece for a window. The ideas keep jumping at us!

I was absolutely shocked when Lewis Hamilton failed to qualify in the first race - I don't think I've ever seen him starting at anything that low. I hope he goes through the field as he tends to do. Oooh a vacation in Italy - wonderful idea. I'd go to Tuscany though.

I'm already looking forward to seeing your stained glass piece. I used to do that when I was at Art College, but nothing as good as yours. Although I do paint on glass etc, not as difficult as what you and Rick are purporting to do. Yes - so you know what I mean about ideas jumping about all over the place.

Your plants are absolutely gorgeous! They clearly love where you have them.

We had a lovely day Friday, and again on Saturday, though Sunday turned quite cool and overcast. Set to be cooler for a few days now, which is a shame. Nice that you got some lovely fresh air and slight breeze into the house.

Oh yes they do love it in the bay window - I've got so many plants there and when people give me more for Mother's Day or birthday etc, then they automatically put them there and it's getting busier and busier there!!!

Been lovely today, Sunday, and the window was wide open for about 8 hours. As soon as the sun left this side of the house, it did turn colder. Apparently it's going to cool down for the rest of the week, then it'll start to warm up again. I wish it would make its mind up!!!! Happy Mother's Day by the way!

Thanks Jenny. I had a long shift Sunday tho it wasn't too busy, and work gave the Mum's a small bunch of tulips. Had a nice card from my son too.
