Emily packed my camera!!
What have I done to deserve having so many wonderful friends? Emily sent me more clothes (with extra knickers/trousers etc) so I should be fine. Also she sent in some soap, shampoo and conditioner!! Yay - I'll be smelling beautifully soon. Best of all - she sent me in my camera!!!! To this end, I am able to show you my bruises!!!

These are all on my left hand, because I'm right handed and they might as well ruin the arm I don't use very often, and give my right hand a bit of luck. So I'll keep you all informed as and when I find out any information. I just want to go home and get better.

HOLY COW JENNY!!! It looks like a band of children let loose with the crayolas on your skin!!! I sure do hope that the bruises aren't too painful :( They look very uncomfortable, you dear girl. :(

I am so glad that Emily brought your camera! How nice that you're able to amuse yourself with pictures. It's such a nice way to "disappear" from the current situation.

Let us know how you're feeling, and thanks for keeping us up to date! *BIG HUGS*

Yes it does look like the remnants of crayons and kids getting together, Janet!!! LOL The bruises are rather painful, and if they were to be pressed, I tend to have to be scraped off the ceiling!!! I have been waiting now for 2 days for a shower, and every time we arrange for me to go, the horde of doctors come!!!! I swear they are hiding outside just to annoy me!!!

Ah yes , of course you have people who care! Its easy with you. Yes the colors are lovely. Take forever to disappear too. I had both arms and both hands. At least (thank goodness it wasn't long) the catheter meant I didn't have to jump to the loo!

Jenny McIntyre replied to Gracie:

I did suggest a catheter, but they were concerned about infection. My heart, lungs and liver might not manage to cope with that.

It looks like they are using you as a pin cushion Jenny. Hopefully, it will be worthwhile and they will let you come home soon.

Jenny McIntyre replied to Maeluk:

Well they have to practice on someone Steve!!! There are a couple of nurses who are so good at it, that I'm waiting for them to start, and they've already finished!!! Whilst others.......... say no more!!! Yes as long as they make me better, I don't really care.

Oh dear! I have to have transfusions once a month so I know what it means to be 'hooked up'! Thankfully I don't get contusions such as yours! I do hope they clear up pronto!!!

Jenny McIntyre replied to Andy Rodker:

Oh you poor thing. It's bad enough for me to have two these last few days, let alone once a month!!!!

Wow, Jenny, what a horrible reminder of what you've been through the last several days! I am greatly relieved that you are past the worst of it and have gotten rid of all that fluid in your body that was causing such trouble! Thank you for sharing your life with us so we can support you through this hard time! You are in my prayers for a speedy recovery and that you will be released from the hospital very soon! Hugs and kisses xxx

Jenny McIntyre replied to Valfal:

Thank you so much Val. Yes they are very colourful - but a lot of them have faded now, but new ones have been added!!!!! Thank you so much for caring the way you do - it's very humbling. I do hope you are enjoying your new life in Florida. I also hope that the weather is a damn sight better than what we have here - constant rain and wind.

Valfal replied to :

Yes the weather is better here despite the “ chilly “ 55 degrees that it is now. That nor’easter has also impacted our weather, too. But thankfully no snow! :-)
