Such a beautiful image............I like the shapes of the trees and the shapes and textures in the stonework. The distant view is lovely in the hazy sunshine.
Another wonderful view in the PiP, with gorgeous light and dappled shadows and it's good to see a little more of the landscape. The colour of the water is sublime.
Just a couple of quick showers and a lot of electric storms… but it is dry season now, no significant rain expected before October at the best (this year first rain was December… and that was it).
Alqueva is one of the biggest European reservoirs… totally artificial, can get more info there : en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alqueva_Dam
OK. I only asked because on the BBC weather forecast last night it seemed to indicate a lot of rain crossing your part of the world. I obviously misheard it :-)
