After his struggle with Covid climbing the mountains again seemed to be so near... so sad it was not to be. Rest in Peace, Andy.

It was scheduled to be done in October the four of us... we will do it maybe as a tribute fo him, if we can...

A very sad loss to us all Isabel. Thank you for passing on the news to us all, just as you did with your almost daily bulletins whilst he was in hospital with Covid. - I had no idea that he was back in hospital, or even if he was unwell again. I have known him via our photographs of his beloved Cornwall and St Agnes since our Panoramio days and we exchanged many Ipermails together.

I feel that I have lost a very dear friend. His Ipernity collection here reminds us of his love for our photographic hobby. RIP my friend.

We hoped he would make it, family asked me not to share this time, we hoped so much it would be a short stay in hospital...

Oh es ist sehr traurig, dass er es nicht mehr geschafft hat nach seiner Krankheit zu genesen. Am 16. Juli 2023 sah ich noch ein älteres Foto auf seiner IP-Seite, welches er dort eingestellt hatte. Allerdings wußte ich nicht, dass es ihm nun wieder schlechter ging.
Ich kannte ihn noch aus Panoramio-Zeiten....

Es ist traurig und ich spreche den Angehörigen mein Beileid aus.

I hope he rests in peace in the shade of the olive trees. He loved them so much ....

Das ist immer eine sehr traurige Nachricht liebe Isabel,ich wusste leider auch nicht,dass es ihn vor meiner Zeit so getroffen hat,da kämpft jemand so lange und trotzden war es zu wenig,lieber Andy,Ruhe in Frieden

Excellent tribute photo. I'm shocked and saddened to hear about Andy's passing. He was such a great person. My deepest condolences go out to Andy, his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

This is such awfully sad news Isabel, and quite a shock. I had not realised Andy was so ill again.
His presence here on ipernity will be sorely missed as wiill his photographs and updates in his notes that I am sure made us all feel as if we knew him well.
