Ailurophobia ...

AS SOME OF YOU KNOW WHEN I SEE A CAT I FREAK OUT, EVEN IN YOUR PHOTOS... EVEN IF I TRIED TO TAKE A PHOTO OF CATS ONCE OR TWICE...
SO I AM GOING TO TELL YOU WHAT HAPPENED TO ME SOME TIME AGO. I WENT TO THE TOWN NEARBY TO DO SOME SHOPPING AND WHEN I CAME BACK I HAD THIS CAT OVER THE DRIVER'S SIDE... I SHOUTED: NOTHING, I BANGED ON THE CAR: NOTHING, I TOOK A PICTURE: NOTHING.
I DECIDED IN DESPAIR, AND AS I WAS STARVING, TO GO TO A RESTAURANT HOPING NOT TO FIND THE CAT WHEN BACK.
ONE AND A HALF HOUR LATER HE WAS STILL THERE. SO I ENTERED MY CAR ON THE PASSENGER SIDE, PUT THE ENGINE ON... AND SAW IT JUMPING DOWN...
MY FOLLOWING NIGHT WAS FULL OF NIGHTMARES, FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT NOW I HAVE BEEN ATTACKED BY WILD CATS WHEN I WAS 4 YEARS OLD, NEVER GOT OVER THE TRAUMA.

Being a dog person, I don't have much use for cats, but I must say that this one is sorta cute. I can see though if you have a phobia concerning them, how "cute" didn't matter. Congratulations on overcoming the fear enough to post the shot!

Wow, that's quite a story. Maybe the cat was showing you a kind and harmless side to help you through your trauma.

Good for you being brave enough to take a photo, Isabel!

The photo was an atempt to scare him... unfortunately it did not work... he costed me a lunch in the restaurant and some nightmares the following night...

You were brave to get a photo and get into your car!
I don't care much for dogs and try to give them a wide berth as my aunt used to have a succession of spoiled and misbehaved ones- "der will nur spielen!" (he only wants to play), jumping at us little kids...
