Yes, someone might think so ;). But, no, these poppies were sown on their own. This happens somewhere when the field is left unattended (there is already a few years no owner)
I saw something like this a few years ago in a neighboring region, but there was no way to stop the car and take a photo :(. Now I found this field nearby, only 15 km away. And this causes me delight! There are a few more fields, but there are much less poppies.
