Top left is Ashop Head the west corner of the Kinder Scout plateau.

The centre of Glossop still has a large ex mill building Howard Town Mills home to a Travelodge, a Wetherspoons ( The Smithy Fold) and retailers and food outlets that have not all lasted very long but Pico Lounge and Mountain Warehouse have outlived the others. New building opposite the mill are the home to Marks&Spencer Food Hall and more recently Lidl.
