Picture in picture is not quite the view from the bench but very similar taken a few minutes earlier to the North. The photo from the bench was under very dark skies and light rain.

The view is looking West to the mountain Fairfield. One if the most famous Fells in the area having a famous horseshoe route from the valley bottom starting clockwise from the village of Rydal or anticlockwise from the popular town of Ambleside.
