Some Lapwings have arrived back

An early sign that Spring really will arrive one day is that the Lapwings move inland from the coast to the Peak District their favourite breeding grounds

You know your nature stuff. That field with sheep often has Brown Hare and the Lapwing do nest in the next two fields beyond and some others out of shot right. I say nest but should probably says have nested as the numbers have fluctuated wildly in the last 20 years.
