I remember a field trip to look at this site, back when I was a student - and I quite recently made another pilgrimage !
Really shows the power of a moving landslip, even a slow one like this.

Interestingly there was a student group being told all the history down by Odin Mine. I stood a reasonable distance away but could hear all the dates and description. I just managed to stop myself saying I was old enough to have driven down the road though from memory it was traffic light controlled single line traffic. I am sure the students would have been impressed, no probably not!
