Always good to get bees like this. We have a wasp net near our door but they dash around too quickly for photos. I don't have the heart to destroy it as they have left us alone (until now at least.) Nice capture here.

We have had more years with wasp nests in or very near the house the last few years than not. While they often get in the house they rarely cause problems though my late father did get a sting once as he could not see the wasp he put his hand on.
