No Zip Slide…

This is a protest against the proposed Zip Wire tourist attraction to be constructed at the close Elterwater Quarry.

This has been approved by local planners despite protests mainly relating to access to the area as the existing roads are so narrow and mostly single track. In the Summer months the valley is already so busy that there is little room for any additional traffic.
