Colin Ashcroft replied to Keith Burton:

First I have ever seen. It was at Cumbria Wildlife Trust Foulshaw Moss. We went to see the nesting Ospreys but the nest is along way from the viewing point and although there were two Ospreys in flight we never saw any close for a photo. There is a live webcam at the nest and the 2 chicks have been ringed this week - both male.

Keith Burton replied to Colin Ashcroft:

It's great to see Ospreys doing so well in the UK at the moment. It was on the Red List a while back but now it's an Amber List species because of its historical decline (due to illegal killing) and low breeding numbers.
