Well equipped walkers on Long Causeway

I did have walking boots on but just normal every day coat and trousers - I bet they thought I was a naive tourist.

Even on a very quiet April day there were many visitors determined to walk the top of the very popular Stanage Edge in the UK Peak District National Park

A great view and hike from up here Colin. I have never done Stanage Edge . Looks like I have missed something. Walked around Bamford edge once. Well done.

Enjoy the day. Herb

Colin Ashcroft replied to Herb Riddle:

It’s very popular so car parking on a good day is often an issue but there are a number of easy access ways up some short and steep but others like this way (Long Causeway from Dennis Knoll) are little longer but more easier walking.

A lovely landscape with great textures and wonderful colour. The hikers provide the ideal foreground interest. All the best, joe
