very beautiful estate and landscape

It looks really beautiful there Colin.............and this is a lovely shot. Thanks for the link, it made interesting reading. I wish the NT would ban shooting on all it's land..!!

The main local issue is that this land still borders a privately owned Grouse Moor just over the hill and across the next valley. National Trust have woken up to this on their land at least and they are major landowners to the right of this photo and it looks like they will eventually remove shooting rights there as well.

That would be good...........something the NT should have done years ago!
