Wonderful vista.

Very nice.. I think this is one village I have never visited... we keep mainly to the Hope and Edale valley... with Tideswell / Millers dale / Chee dale....anywhere out towards Buxton.

Its quite attractive and popular but not quite as busy as Hathersage or Castleton. I haven't been in the White Peak for a number of years but used to visit Monsal and the ones you mention more regularly.
