I can assure you no sheep were injured during the taking of this photo :-).
They are strange beasts at times and do get into peril on steep rocky hillsides
I've seen them stuck on Cornish cliffs. Cows too. The local mountain rescue teams get some practice in if the farmers can't do it themselves; often they can.
Fine shot once again.
They do have an adventurous streak - I've seen Herdwick sheep in the Lake District high up on rocks in the same way. I guess they mostly get down ( or up!) themselves
