Big Sur is one of the most beautiful places on earth, at least in my opinion. Every time I visit, the visions of the coast, the coolness of the fresh air, the sound of the waves crashing against the coastline, the color of the water, and the feeling of freedom I experience never leave me ...

Nepenthe is a great restaurant right on the Pacific Coast. Years ago, it had a '60's vibe. At the right time of year, you can whale watch while you dine.
