The drive from Santa Barbara to Carmel will take you to Pismo Beach and more stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. I've lived in Florida most of my life, but I am not a "beach person". I much prefer the mountains. But, the Pacific Ocean and its breathtaking views has a hold on me.
