I see you…in the wild

An oldie but a favourite! I found this character on a branch just ahead of me on a jungle track in Sabah, Borneo.
Needless to say, I did not push the acquaintance too far….they are venomous.
I love its markings and red eyes!

Have a fabulous new week..will try to get some visits in…have been insanely busy of late.

It's a really beautiful creature though and you've captured it very well. I love the vibrant green colour, the markings on the body, and those amazing red eyes!

Great capture Diana. I hope you used a long telephoto! I found that unless you actually step on them snakes in the wild are as happy to scurry one way as I am to scurry even faster the opposite way!
