An image I omitted to post when I returned from this trip. Taken far in the outback of western Queensland, where the country is (mostly) very flat - and where most of the roads are unsealed.

No kidding! ;-) I traveled through the outback in Queensland, but it looked a little different, more hilly. So it must have been in a different region, I guess (I don't remember exactly because it was 45 years ago)!!

When I first came to Wa riding a Mc my very first seal road that started from black bitumen it a sealed Road like this scared me to death thinking it was a GRAVEL road, Same colour as this sealed road A real welcome To Wa after growing up in NZ.

This is Just a real OZ shot. All those rolling hills, the Lush forest of trees and narrow horizons....
