Deon's Lookout bench

Benches became increasingly difficult to find as I travelled further into the outback! Probably best viewed on black. Quite an impressive view from this bench - see PiP#1. Wishing everyone a very Happy Bench Monday.

This lookout is dedicated to Deon Brook, a young man from the area, killed in a helicopter accident nearby - see PiP#2.

Amazing views from this lookout George and a beautiful colour palette. You seem to have a number of places with people's names attached to them which is intriguing. I did manage to find this and it was a dedication to Deon Brook who died, just 20 years of age, in a tragic helicopter accident close by. So sad and so young but it is nice that his name lives on here.

Thanks for this feedback, Carol. You're quite right about the lookout being created as a dedication to Deon Brook and I probably should have covered that in my notes. I'll correct that and add an extra PiP image of the dedication plaque.
