Hammerfest

Hammerfest, at 70 39' 48" N, claims to be the "World's Northernmost Town" (PiP). Though that may be open to debate from some other towns, it is certainly the largest north of 70 degrees. When we arrived the wind was still bringing drifting snow, though that soon cleared. Best viewed large.

A beautiful series. I like the title shot very much. Great perspective. Last not least a great processing!

This looks very cold and very treacherous too. I would have worn spikes on my boots here, George.

That wind off the roofs looks cold indeed and makes me think of winter, though not with anticipation.
