Russian River

Last summer, the river was down to a few feet, occupying less than half its bed. After the long spell of heavy rain we've been having, it got to just below official flood stage.
The last storm is over now, and we're looking at a period of dry weather, which is a relief. Still - we did need the water, and our reservoirs needed filling badly.

I am glad that the riverbeds have recovered. Two wooded shores, I don't know which one to decide. Have a nice and healthy week.

As here, it seems, if it's not one extreme it's the other! At least all the reservoirs will be right now for some time and the river didn't quite go into full flood.

A nice capture Sarah, sadly we have more water than the rivers can cope with and the Somerset floods have now been designated as a Major Incident.
