george and the dragon, park road, st.john's wood, london
c.l. hartwell's george and the dragon of 1907, meant for regent's park but becoming a war memorial after WWI. an excellent energetic composition, beautifully detailed, and much more believable than many later insipid figures. not in pevsner.
