prittlewell priory, essex
two figures found here, presumably c15 or later, possibly from a roof ? there was no information about these other than the dubious presumption that they were saints from some niche. one seems male, wears a beret like cap and carries a blob (note use of esoteric ecclesiological expression, impressive, eh ?) , the other female with tall headpiece. I couldn't see the backs to check them out, but they are about 3 foot high.
