Apart from the architecture, what sticks out in my mind is the attitude of the friendly helpful vicar .Unlike many churches, and despite the rather dodgy area, the church was open and the vicar welcoming, making a change from the suspicion of so many incumbents, whose first thought is often of theft , or that I am somehow going to make masses of money from photoing their church.
