Donald Trump has been whining about Norway. The Norwegian Parliament is called Stortinget. It is a compound word: “stor” meaning big and “ting” meaning thing. The Big Thing. As everyone knows, Donny’s thing isn’t very big. Many people are saying it. The Epstein files may confirm it.

This is the flag of Norway and it looks nothing like the flag of Greenland or Venezuela. Norway was a poor province of Denmark or Sweden for hundreds of years. Norwegians chose red white and blue for their flag because those colors stood for freedom, not because the U.S. flag, but because of the French flag.

Listening to Trump today at Davos sent a chill up my spine. He talked about Greenland and Canada the same way Hitler talked about the Sudetenland.
