Pulhamite rocks, Battersea Park.

Olympus 35RC, HP5+. London SW11. July 2021. Artificial rocks installed by James Pulham and Son in about 1870. Our children used to play on these for hours while I sat on a bench and read the paper. Happy days.

Dear God, I used to play on these as a kid each Summer when packed off to my Aunty in Elephant & Castle...Battersea Park was a magical place for me (at the risk of sounding sentimental) - thanks for the memory!

Originally these were called the Owl Enclosure and fenced off by railings. You can see the base of these around the stones. But no signs of owls!
